The original recipe adds pepperoncini peppers but I excluded them. Works with Chuck Roast as well.

Place roast in slow cooker. Add water and Italian salad dressing mix. cook on low 10 to 12 hours.
About 2 to 3 hours before serving, take two forks and gently pull apart the beef roast. It should be tender enough to shred easily.
Continua cooking on low until ready to serve.
Serve on toasted buns.
We added barbecue sauce to the sandwich and it was delicious.
