Classic cookie
Oven to 350
Mix butter, sugar and eggs in mixer.
Combine flour,tartar, baking soda &salt in bowl.
Mix dry ingredients into mixer...do not over mix.
Dough in fridge for minimum 15 minutes...cookie sheet MN garage cold too.
Get a flat bowl or plate with a decent lip...add the sugar & cinnamon mix (3 T ea.)
Use 1" cookie scoop and roll into balls - these get rolled around in the cinnamon mix.
Make sure they are totally covered.
Bake 10 minutes, let cool one min and then move to drying rack to cool.
Good cinnamon and salted butter. You CANT make this with margarine or shortening.
Also important not to microwave butter to hurry up softening. It should be room temp and
