Easy dish and very good with several meats.
Wash and trim asparagus spears, place in boiling salted water and cook until tender. Drain and place in a serving dish, keep warm. Meanwhile, in a saucepan, melt the butter slowly until lightly brown. Mix in cheese and pour over asparagus spears. Do not get butter too hot or the cheese will melt and form a ball. Sprinkle with chopped hard boiled egg.
