This quiche is fabulous for a brunch/luncheon entree with a side salad and fruit tray.
* Thaw soufflé
* Beat eggs and milk
* Mix with soufflé
* Sauté chopped onion in a little oil and then add sausage and brown
* Add mushrooms to skillet with meat, saute, then drain off grease from meat mixture
* Combine all ingredients
Pour into a 9" unbaked pie shell and Bake at 400 for 25 to 30 minutes
(Check bottom of pie dish to make sure crust has browned)
TIP:
You can brush the bottom of your pie crust with a slightly beaten egg white to insure that you do not have a soggy bottom pie crust!!
(I do this with my pumpkin pies and the crust is never soggy!!!)
If you double this recipe, it will yield one 10" pie and one 9" pie.
