Suggest a better descriptionFor the sauce: Combine all ingredients in a small bowl and wisk together.
1. Cut the beef along the grain into 2" wide strips and then slice across the grain into 1/8" wide pieces.
2. Toss the beef pieces in the soy sauce and let marinade for at least 10 minutes
3. Heat 2 tsp of peanut oil in wok/skillet on med-high heat until just smoking. Add half the beef and cook without stirring about 1 minute. Stir and cook for another minute. Transfer cooked beef to plate. Repeat with remaining beef.
4. Heat 1 tsp of peanut oil over med-high heat until just smokeing and add broccoli and cook for 30 seconds. Add water and cover and steam on med heat for 2 minutes. Transfer to paper-towel lined plate.
5. Heat remaining tsp of peanut oil in skillet over med-high heat until just smoking. Add onions and bell pepper and cook until peppers are spotty brown.
6. Add garlic and ginger and cook until fragrant (~30 seconds)
7. Reduce heat to med-low and return broccoli and beef with any juices back to pan.
8. Pour sauce over beef and broccoli and stir to combine. Sauce with thicken with heat.
