We call it "toast" but it's so much more! Delicious, roasted strawberries, creamy burrata, and crisp salad come together in an explosion of flavor and texture that could be your next "it" meal for breakfast, brunch, lunch, or a feel-good snack.
1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. Place the quartered strawberries on the baking sheet. Toss the strawberries with 1 tablespoon of balsamic vinegar, 1 tablespoon of honey, and an 1/8 teaspoon salt. Arrange in a single layer and roast for 30 minutes. Keep the oven on and set strawberries aside to cool while you prepare toast and salad.
3. Brush each side of the sourdough slices with 1/2 teaspoon of olive oil. Place sourdough on a baking sheet and bake until toasted to your liking, about 10 to 12 minutes.
4. For the salad and dressing, whisk together 1 tablespoon olive oil, 1/2 tablespoon balsamic vinegar, 1/2 teaspoon honey, Dijon mustard, salt, and cracked black pepper to taste. Drizzle the dressing over the arugula, then toss with walnuts to combine. Top the sourdough with the salad.
5. Pat the burrata ball dry with paper towels. Tear the burrata into quarters. Arrange half of the burrata on each slice of toasted sourdough. Spoon the roasted strawberries on top, being sure to spoon some of the released juices onto the toast as well.
Sprinkle with the chopped basil and serve.
