My mom's (Lorena Casiello) version of this same recipe called for the strawberries to be "undrained" and oil was decreased to 1 1/4 cup.
Grease loaf pans, then line with aluminum foil (make width of the pan, but longer on the length so as to have handles on each end of the loaf of bread to assist with removing it from the pan).
Grease the pan again.
Mix the strawberries, eggs and oil together.
Sift flour, soda, salt, cinnamon and sugar into the strawberry mixture.
Stir pecans into the above.
Pour into 2 loaf pans.
Bake 350 for 1 hour or until toothpick test.
