Step 1
Mix Buttermilk (milk mixture) with egg, salt, and pepper.
Step 2
Place chicken pieces in Buttermilk (milk mixture) and egg, salt and pepper. (Let marinade in the refrigerator overnight.)
Step 3
The next day, remove chicken from the Buttermilk (milk mixture) and stuff slices of cold butter under the skin.
Step 4
Mix stuffing and seasonings from Stove Top Stuffing mix in blender and place in large Ziploc bag.
Step 5
Shake chicken pieces in dry mixture until they are evenly coated.
Step 6
Lightly fry coated chicken pieces in butter.
Step 7
Bake in oven at 350 degrees for 45 minutes to an hour. (Internal temperature should be 165 degrees.)
Step 8
I like to make gravy from the juices and serve with mashed potatoes.
