Chocolate Jelly roll pan cake
Preheat oven to 375*F Sift Sugar, flour, salt into a bowl and set aside. Combine butter, water, and cocoa in a sauce pan and bring to a boil over medium heat. Remove from heat and immediately stir in the contents of the bowl of sugar, flour, and salt. Mix in sour cream and eggs. Sift in baking soda. Mix together. It is a thin batter. Pour into a greased jelly roll pan. Bake for 20-25 minutes.
Before the cake is finished baking, make the frosting.
3/4 cup Butter
4 tablespoons milk
3 tablespoons cocoa
1 pound powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
Over medium heat bring to boil butter, milk, cocoa and keep a rolling boil for 1 minute. beat in sugar and vanilla. Pour onto hot cake.
Sift the baking soda and don’t forget to add it at the very end right before you put it in the pan and bake.
