In a stand mixer, sift the flour, sugar and salt.
In a saucepan, cook the butter, cocoa and water until boiling. Then add to flour mixture . Mix to combine. To that, add the sour cream, vanilla, baking soda and eggs.
While cake is baking, place all frosting ingredients in a saucepan, and bring to a boil. Remove cake from oven and check to make sure it is done. Poke holes sporadically in cake and pour frosting over the whole thing.
