Cook at 325-350F for 15 mins/pound of bird. Stuff with stuffing in other recipe. Tent foil over top of bird without tucking it in (don't boil the poor bird). Remove the tent in the last hour. Baste occasionally with turkey fat drippings. A 15 lb bird will serve 8.
To thaw frozen turkeys, put in fridge for 5 hours/lb or in plastic bag in sink with warm water (changing occasionally) for 1 hour/lb.
