Suggest a better description1. Cook bacon in small skillet over medium heat until crisp, 5-7 minutes. Transfer to plate to cool. Do not drain.
2. Combine spinach, pear and onion in a large bowl
3. Add enough olive oil to the pan drippings to make 2 Tablespoons total. Add vinegar, syrup, salt and pepper. Bring to a simmer.
4. Break bacon into bits.
5. Immediately pour the dressing over the salad and gently toss to coat.
6. Serve sprinkled with the bacon and walnuts.
