From Taste of Home Magazine
1. In a mixing bowl, cream butter and brown sugar. Beat in egg and vanilla.
2. Combine the flour, cocoa, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add to the creamed mixture.
3. Stir in vanilla chips.
4. Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls 2 inches apart onto greased baking sheets. Flatten slightly with a glass.
5. Bake at 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes or until set. Remove to wire racks to cool.
For an extra yummy treat, substitute white chips for marshmallows and chocolate super chunks! Cook 12-14 minutes.
