You truly can't ruin this as long as you don't overbake it!

-Mix together wet ingredients (sugar through water). Beat lightly with electric beaters or hand-mash with a manual, handheld potato masher.
-In a separate bowl, mix together dry ingredients. (I ALWAYS DOUBLE the cinnamon and ground cloves and salt to make a much more delectable pumpkin bread!)
-I have also used gluten-free flour and this is still wonderful!
-My cousin, Nancy, makes these bread loaves cute by greasing and filling soup cans about two-third full, baking cans upright (vertically), then removing with a knife and slicing horizontally - so cute! I am lazy and just fill a loaf pan and cut slices of the loaves.
-Either way, it is delicious!
Just don't overbake.
