Fruity Asian Coleslaw Ingredients

-- ------------------------------------------- --3 tablespoons key lime juice
4 cups shredded cabbage 1/4 cup Splenda to taste
2 each apples coarsely chopped1 teaspoon cardamom
1 can pineapple chunks drained1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
1/3 cup raisins 1 teaspoon ginger root powder
.1/8 teaspoon five-spice powder
-- Dressing --1 teaspoon poppy seeds
1 1/2 cups mayonnaise -- ------------------------------------------- --

Instructions for Fruity Asian Coleslaw

Blend together the mayonnaise, Splenda, key lime juice, cardamom, cinnamon, ginger root, five-spice powder and poppy seeds, and set aside.

Drain pineapple very well, wash and peel apples then cut into medium chunks . Mix apples, raisins and pineapple into shredded cabbage. Add dressing and toss to coat. Don't add dressing all at once in case you don't need it all.

This is a little different than the usual coleslaw, but very good and easy to prepare. Prepare dressing ahead of time, then put salad together whenever you wish. All of the spices should be added carefully, to-taste, as the best flavor is arrived at with just the right amounts of each.
