"taste is very good. but mine came out a bit runny. i measured very accurately being more of a baker than a cook. I used lemon juice on apples as i completed each. i used 4 apples and juice of about half a lemon. next time i will use more flour and cornstarch. i think the sauce just needs to be thicker and it would be perfect." - Sharonesq

Yum! Left the skins on because I was lazy and I like the skins. Added cloves to mix it up a little. Awesome. Only baked these thin slices 32 mins. Just right for me.

super awesome....I wish I had made two dishes. I barely got to taste it because the family ate it all -- even the sauce. Will make again this weekend.
OH, we had vanilla yogurt ice-cream with it and I used Honey Crisp apples. Very yummy.

So yummy!!! I pulled them out ten minutes early. I liked them still a little solid rather then softer but great recipe and supper easy. I bought a bag of already sliced apples to save more time. All I had to do was cut the peel off.

Used granny smith and 40 minutes. Just a touch of nutmeg for my wife... Fabulous! ! This will be a regular item with my pork roast. Rave reviews, probably good over ice cream too.

Awesome and easy! Called Boston Mkt, they use Jonathan apples. Couldn't find those so I have tried several types and reccommend Granny Smith as #1 alternative. I also shorten cook time to 33 to 35 minutes to prevent apples from getting too mushy. Great dish to bring when invited to dinner. Big hit!

Awesome!!! It took me a hour to make because I'm new a cooking. It tasted awesome. I had to use a knife to de-pit the apple. :) Awesomeness

A good, simple receipe. Prepared for a meeting to be enjoyed as a snack. Wish the syrup had been a tad thicker (maybe add a little extra corn starch next time?)

I made this for my kiddos and they LOVED it! I substituted the corn starch (I didn't have any) for more flour and it was still good.

This was so easy and delicious. I forgot to add the salt because it wasn't in the prep instructions but still tasted good. I think next time i'll make sure I have some ice cream on hand.

Total disaster! Possibly because I doubled the recipe? It came out really gross! The flour & cornstarch condensed together and created a thick, gooey paste. The apples themselves were good, but the sauce which I thought would be sweet & buttery was yucky. My fault I'm sure; guess I should't have doubled the corn starch & flour measurements?
