This french toast is a great hit with the kids and adults alike!
"I created a minor adaptation of this recipe, which was absolutely terrific.I omitted the cinnamon (I think it'd be delicious, but thought our young kids might not like it).
In a small saucepan, I added chopped walnuts to maple syrup, and put it on the stove over very low simmer heat. When the french toast was ready, I topped with powdered sugar and sliced bananas, then the walnut syrup. Fantastic result. Kids and adults all enjoyed it for brunch. Pair with fruit cup, coffee, etc. and you're all set a weekend brunch." - stevemur
