suzyqs ,I changed the vanilla for almond flavouring and I added 2 tbs of ovaltine to the dough and 2 tbs to the sugar and cinnamon coating. I call it Grandma's Snickerdoodles. It's heaven!13y
gloriajean59 ,I love the taste, but I baked them for the full 10 minutes and the next day they were hard. I will try them baking them for only 8 min. because I love a soft and chewy cookie14y
sgrishka ,These snickerdoodles were melt in your mouth good! They had crisp edges, chewy centers, were buttery and sugary (though not overly sweet), had a perfect balance of flavors, and were addictive enough to make me reach for a second. I personally prefer a slightly crisper cookie, so if you go with the high end of the baking time, you will get a crisper cookie, while the low end will get you a chewier one. Either way, these are great.15y
