A bit more rich and creamy than alfredo sauce, this is a nice dish to make for dinner.
Cook noodles according to package.
Melt butter. Cook in cream cheese. Stir in heavy cream until desired consistency reached, about 1/3 cup, maybe more. Add garlic and pepper.
Slice the mushrooms. Snip off just the very ends of the broccoli florette and tear or cut so that the pieces are very tiny.
Layer evenly in pan, using 1/2 the ingredients in the first layer:
sauce, noodles, veggies, cheese
repeat a 2nd layer.
Cover with foil and bake at medium-high heat (about 250-300 degrees) for about an hour or until the cheese is bubbly and golden, but not burnt.
