Iced coffee is a great way to use up extra coffee. If you brew a pot of coffee in the morning, but often have extra, it's a great idea to refrigerate unused coffee in a thermos in the fridge, and then make iced coffee to enjoy as an afternoon refreshment. Use milk, whole milk, or even a bit of half and half as a rich treat.
jukin89 ,You can also freeze left over coffee in ice cube trays and use those instead of ice cube. Help not water down your ice coffee!!!11y
cpolley520 ,This is really good. I've been looking for a good iced coffee recipe for awhile now and nothing turns out. I always end up driving thru somewhere to get a coffee. Thanks for sharing this!12y
blondie0013 ,This recipe was supposed to make only 1 serving but it made 3 large ones. I ended up adding a bit more sugar, but other than that It was really good12y
nattdogg ,Very good. One day i was in a hurry so I just put the ingredients in a blender and made a smoothie out of it. Still very good. would recommend it to any coffee freak.12y
mlutker ,Starbucks has been making a fortune on Frappucino when you can make it for 1/8th the price, decaf (if you need it) and sugar free! Same recipe, just add Splenda, a teaspoon of vanilla extract, or even cocoa for mocha. Done. I stored these in used Carnation creamer bottles and pour it whenever I am ready (store in COLD section of refrigerator, last longer). Want it creamier, head to the Hispanic section of your market and buy powdered 'whole' milk (hard to find whole milk in American section). Add tablespoons till it is as creamy as you like it. Grab this and go in the morning. Heck buy some canned whip cream and you just saved $3....13y
stevemur ,I used to be addicted to those Starbucks Iced Coffee bottles you see in US groceries these days. Here's a simple way to replicate the flavor; you may want to add more or less sugar as desired.16y
