Suggest a better descriptionBrown 3 or 4 cubes of meat on high heat in bottom of stainless steel pot so bottom is covered with residue. Stir constantly so meat browns pot but doesn't burn.
Then remove this meat.
Sprinkle all sides of meat wiith salt, pepper, basil then flour
Put in pot with 1/2 onions add olive oil. Brown this mixture on high for a few minutes again stir constantly so it doesn't burn.
Add 1 cup water just and stir and scrape up bottom residue until bottom is smooth.
Add rest of vegetables. Add enough just enough water to cover meat and vegetables. Reduce heat to medium or fast simmer for 40 minutes
Add additional salt, pepper to taste
Watch for thickness add flour or water for desired thickness
