3 lb Fryer Chicken; Cut Up
4 tb milk
2 1/2 c Corn Flakes; Crushed *
1/2 ts Pepper
5 tb Butter; melted
2 ts Salt
2 Large Eggs; Slightly Beaten

* Crush but do not pulverize the corn flakes. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ ++++++++++++++++++ Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Wash chicken and pat dry. Mix together eggs and milk. Separately mix corn flake crumbs, salt, and pepper. Dip chicken into milk and egg mixture then into the crumb mixture coating each piece evenly. Set in well-greased baking pan. Drizzle with melted butter. Bake, uncovered, for 1 hour.

this has got to be the best oven fried chicken I've ever had.. after reading the reviews about the seasoning, I added sage, poultry seasoning, garlic and onion powders. I also seasoned the chicken with garlic salt before I dunked the chicken in the egg/milk wash.. so good...

very good!! but i added few more seasonings to the cornflakes. garlic powder and garlic powder. the extra seasonings completed the taste.

Delicious! I used chicken breasts instead of a fryer and baked for 20 minutes (checking with a meat thermometer). Great flavor!
