Suggest a better descriptionCook okras in a pot of boiling water for 2 minutes. Drain and rinse with cold water. Remove the hard tops. Cut into horizontal halves.
In a mixing bowl, combine the tomatoes and okra.
In a small bowl or a bottle with a lid, combine the lemon juice, turbinado sugar, soy sauce, and two sprays of olive oil and mix well.
Place the vegetables on a large plate and top with the Bonito flakes. Pour two teaspoons dressing over each serving. Use all the dressing if you are serving the entire mixture in a large plate.
