A great decadent breakfast served with breakfast sausage and scrambled eggs.
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
Mix together all ingredients except bread.
Soak bread in batter.
Heat skillet, melt butter, cook bread 30 seconds on each side.
Remove to a sheet tray.
Bake in oven 5 to 7 minutes (should plump slightly)
Plate with strawberries, confectioners sugar and maple syrup.
