Baked potatoes are one of the easiest dishes to prepare, virtually requiring no food preparation. Completes just about any meal. Put the potatoes in the Dutch Oven and cook. Very simple. You do not need to wrap them in foil because the Dutch Oven acts as the foil.
Suggested Fire:
o Charcoal fire
Tools Required:
o Dutch oven
o Kitchen tongs and/or heavy duty gloves
Preparation:
1. Place potatoes in Dutch oven. Can layer potatoes up to two deep
2. Place 1 cup water into the Dutch oven
3. Cover with Dutch oven lid
4. Place coals for fire on top of Dutch oven and place Dutch oven on top of a few coals
5. Allow to cook for 1 hour
