This is my Grandma's recipe and it has never failed to get great comments.
Cook the ground beef thoroughly and drain. In a large pot, saute onions until caramelized. Add brown sugar, vinegar, Worcestershire, lemon juice, ketchup, mustard and water and blend well. Add ground beef and simmer slowly for at least one hour.
Serve on the bun of your choice.
The longer you simmer, the better the barbeque. Also very good the next day.
