Bring water and salt to boil.
Add rice. Replace lid. Lower temperature.
When just about cooked scrap from sides of pot into mountain in middle of pot.
Pour oil around mountain of rice and edge of pot
Replace lid. Shut off stove and let rice finish cooking in own steam.
Cooking time approximately 20 minutes
Pot must have tight fitting lid. Rice should end up with a crunching bottom to it.
