Suggest a better description1. In a large skillet cook bacon pieces until nicely browned. Strain bacon will reserving half the grease.
2. Cook onion in bacon grease until caramelized. Then cook the sausage until nicely browned and then the beef. Only strain the beef.
3. In a large Dutch oven or pot combine all the ingredients and be sure to mash up the tomatoes when added to form a sauce and simmer on the stove, covered, lowest setting for 1 to 2 hours. Place in refrigerator for a few days to really get the most out of the flavor.
