Heat cooking pan with oil
Add garlic and onion
Add chicken and let it cook for a few minutes until light brown
Add bay leaves and pepper corn, stir for a few minutes
Add soy sauce, stir for a few minutes until darker brown
Add brown sugar, stir
Add water and bring to a boil, then simmer for about 30 minutes until meat is tender
Add white vinegar, don't cover or stir for a few minutes
Add hard boiled eggs (optional)
