An easy version.
Lightly coat chicken breasts with flour and brown in butter or margarine 2 minutes on each side. Place in 11 x 7-inch baking dish. Season with salt and ground black pepper. Cut each slice of Swiss cheese diagonally and place a slice of ham and a slice of cheese on each chicken breast. Spread mushrooms evenly over all. Bake at 325F. for 45 minutes.
