Suggest a better descriptionMix together well the sugar and cinnamon. Sift other dry ingredients together and put in a large bowl; add eggs, oil, vanilla and orange juice, mixing well; pour 1/4 of batter into a greased and floured tube pan; top with 1/4 of apples; sprinkle with 1/4 of sugar/cinnamon; continue layering, ending with sugar/cinnamon; bake in a preheated 350~ oven for 1 1/4 to 1 1/2 hours; cool on a wire rack.
