In a large stew pot, melt butter over medium heat
Mix flour with the melted butter and stir until smooth.
Slowly add chicken broth stirring continously until no lumps remain.
Add Shredded chicken, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and Italian dressing mix
Bring mixture to a boil
Reduce heat and simmer for 12 minutes
Add milk, lemon juice, white wine, and parsley
Reduce heat to low.
Add cooked rice and cover
Cook until rice is heated
