& vanilla. Reduce mixer speed to med low & add the flour mixture in three batches, alternating w the buttermilk; beat until combined. Pour the batter into prepared pan & smooth top. Bake cake is golden & toothpick Inserted into center comes clean, about 55 min. Let cool 15 min in pan. Whisk the sugar, lemon juice, vanilla& 1 T water in a bowl ; add splash more water if the glaze is thick. Spoon over cake, letting it drip down the sides.
