Suggest a better descriptionTopping - Combine 1st 4 ingredients (original recipe calls for 1cup of chocolate chips my family doesn't care for taste of cinnamon & chocolate so I omit this item). Can also use 1/2 cup of your favorite preserves.
Cake -
Preheat oven to 350°. Grease & flour a 9 inch springboard pan. In large bowl, cream butter & sugar, beat in eggs. Beat in sour cream & vanilla until smooth and creamy. Beat in dry ingredients. Pour 1/2 batter into prepared pan, sprinkle 1/2 topping over batter. Pour in remaining batter and cover with remaining topping mixture. Bake for 50-60 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean. Cool in pan 10 minutes before removing from pan
