Excellent garlic bread. Use crispy italian bread. Cook longer than recipe calls for.
Cut bread lenghwise without cutting all the way through and spread open. Blend softened butter, parsley, oregano, dillweed, and garlic in a small bowl. Spead mixture on both sides of bread. Shape aluminum foil around loaf of bread and twist ends slightly to hold bread open and upright. (leave the top open). Sprinkle top liberally with cheese and parsley. Heat in 400? oven 10-12 minutes or until bread is crispy on the edges. Remove from oven and slice to serve.
