Suggest a better description1) Boil sugar, water, and corn syrup together in large saucepan. DO NOT STIR WHILE BOILING
2) Bring to hard crack stage. Use a candy thermometer or test with spoon dropping candy into a cup with cold water (you will hear a hard crack when it is ready).
3) Add preferred flavoring and coloring. Mix by shaking the pan NEVER STIR
4) Pour into greased cookie sheet. When candy has partially cooled, cut into pieces with scissors.
5) Once fully hardened, put candy into bag and shake with final dusting of powdered sugar.
Remember when preparing this recipe that you should never stir at any time.
