My husband was buying packets of granola mix from the store, it cost so much more than making it!! This recipe isn't much like the store-bought version, but it tastes great!
Heat oven to 350 degrees.
In saucepan on high heat, combine water, brown sugar, and butter. Boil until brown sugar is completely dissolved and mixture has thickened slightly. Remove from heat.
In large bowl, mix granola, water mixture, and flour. Stir until all the granola is wet. (Mix should be thick)
Spread mix on greased cookie sheet to about half an inch thick. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes or until lightly golden and mix is no longer sticky to touch (use a spoon to test).
Allow to cool. Cut into inch squares. Mix squares with dried fruit, nuts, and raisins. Store in an airtight container.
