Suggest a better description1) In a soup kettle or large saucepan, saute onions, garlic, celery, and sweet potatoes in olive oil for about 5 minutes.
2) Add seasonings, except tamari, and stock or water, simmer, covered, 15 mins.
3) Add remaining vegetables and chick peas. Add Tamari.
4) Simmer another 20 mins or so until all vegetables are as tender as you like.
