Apple crisp using Irish steel cut oats
1. Preheat the oven to 350F
2. Place the sliced apples in a 9X13 baking dish and dust with the white sugar, 1 tablespoon of flour, and 2 teaspoons of the cinammon mixed together.
3. Combine the oats, 1 cup of flour, brown sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and the remainder of the cinnamon. Pour the melted butter over it and blend in with a pastry cutter.
4. Spoon or crumble the mixture on top of the apples.
5. Bake for 45 minutes or so.
