Lamb chops
Source: Cookbook
In a large skillet brown lamb chops and chopped onion in hot oil. Drain off excess fat. Sprinkle meat with basil, oregano, and pepper.
Put the bouillon cubes in a cup of water and heat the water in the microwave to dissolve cubes. Stir the water into the skillet. Cover and simmer for 15 minutes.
Arrange potatoes around chops and simmer, covered, about 15 minutes more or until potatoes are almost tender.
Add the beans, pimento, and mushrooms. Cover and simmer 5-10 minutes more or till beans are tender.
Remove meat and vegetables from the skillet onto a platter and keep warm. You may need to add water to the skillet until it measures about 1 cup. Stir in 1 tablespoon cold water into cornstarch and stir into cooking liquid. Cook and stir till thickened and bubbly. Cook and stir 1-2 minutes more. Serve with the meat and vegetables.
