Brown bacon in skillet and reserve only a little bacon grease. (you can save the rest for something else)
Melt butter and add Onion with Bacon and grease. Slightly Brown onion in the mixture.
Add broth and bring to a boil
Add rice and all seasonings, and cook on low, covered, until rice is cooked entirely, about 20 minutes on simmer. Let steam for 10 min (do not open the lid).
Add Cooked Peas
Optional... Add Parmesan cheese, and mix thoroughly.
Too much butter and grease... modifications needed
