We used mild sausage (you can sub beef, chorizo, or any kind of meat). In an aluminum pan we added 1/2 a povlano pepper diced, half a green pepper diced, 1/2 a medium sized Tomato, 1/2 an onion diced, 3 tablespoons salsa, minced garlic powder, 8 oz velveeta cheese, Colby jack cheese, cheddar cheese curds from Aldi (just because we had them), and pepper jack cheese!We served this with quest Chile lime chips and salsa!! hrow this on the grill and stir as it melts, perfect non smoky queso that’s easy for an appetizer, dinner, or even add some cauli rice and more meat for a super easy casserole style meal!
I made this queso on the smoker over at my mommas and it was a hit!! If you don’t like “smoke” flavor you could definitely do this on the grill for zero smoke flavor or even in the oven!
