Suggest a better descriptionMade the recipe in BRTW. Previously with lamb shanks, now with beef prime rib (700gm boneless):
-Used 280 gm lentils for 3 portions
- Use 3/4 wine bottle
-Used the same amount of aromantics as in the recipe for the lesser lentil amount
-Used a pinch of dried lavender
-Used herbes de Provence instead of the thyme
-Added a cube of beef bouillon. DON'T ADD any salt to begin with or maybe very little to season the beef
-No need to mix lentils. Just watch for dryness.
-It took 2.5 hours or 3 hours before lentils and beef were perfectly cooked
Delicious!
