Suggest a better descriptionIn a large bowl combine flour, sugar, lemon zest and vanilla. Make a well in the center, add yolk and butter, and mix until well blended, adding a little cold water if necessary to make the dough workable. Wrap and chill one hour.
Cream the cheese in a mixer, add sugar, flour, both zest’s and beat well. Add eggs and egg yolks one at a time, beating lightly after each addition. Add heavy cream, beat lightly and set mixture aside.
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Butter the base and sides of a 9 inch springform pan and remove top of pan. Roll out 1/3 of the dough 1/8 inch thick and place in bottle of pan trimmed to fit. Bake 15 minutes until golden. Cool
Increase oven heat to 550 degrees. Place the side of the springform pan on the base. Roll remaining dough 1/8 inch thick and cut into strips to fit almost to the top of the pan sides and press so they are covered completely. Fill the pan with the cheese mixture. Bake for 10 minutes, reduce the heat to 200 degrees and bake for 1 hour..
