Suggest a better descriptionIn large bowl combine all dry ingredients. Add nuts and raisins. With large wooden spoon stir in butter and applesauce. Pour into a greased and floured tube pan. Bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 45 to 50 minutes. Cool for 10 minutes and remove from pan. Cool completely on a rack. Either dust with confectioners sugar, frost with icing, or serve with ice cream.
