Sweet and savory meatloaf with onions and peppers
(notice serving size and change to fit your needs)
1. In large bowl use your hands to mix together ground beef, lemon juice, A1, ketchup, brown sugar, salt, cayenne, garlic powder.
2. Add diced onions and peppers and press into the ground beef.
3. Add in bread crumbs and gradually mix in beaten eggs.
4. Press the meat mixture into heavily greased bread pans or form into a loaf shape on a greased baking sheet.
5. Bake, covered with foil on 350 for about an hour.
6. Remove foil and spread sauce over meatloaf evenly, return to oven uncovered and bake until internal temperature reaches 165 F (about 20 more minutes)
Slice and serve.
Sauce
1. In a mixing bowl whisk together all ingredients for meatloaf sauce, and chill until ready to spread over meatloaf.
