Peach Cobbler
Place peaches in a 12x5 inch pan. Sprinkle sugar and cinnamon or nutmeg over peaches. Add Butter and vanilla. Cover with pie crust.
Bake at 375 for 10min.
Lower heat to 350
and bake for 30 more minutes
Mix flour and salt. Cut in the shortening until the size of peas. Add water a little at a time until dough clings together. Pat into a ball and divide in half.
Place in a greased floured pie tin.
Prick with fork all around.
