Not just your average refried beans!

In a small dish mix chili powder, cumin, salt, cayenne pepper, cinnamon and cilantro and set aside
Heat half of the lard in a medium pot over medium heat until melted while stirring
Add the onion with 1/4 teaspoon baking soda and saute for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally until they start to tun brown
Add rest of the lard
Add the garlic and saute for 2 more minutes, stirring constantly
Add all spices and stir for a minute
Add lemon juice
Add beef stock
Add beans and mix
Simmer covered over low heat adding beef stock for desired consistency
The beans are done when they are bubbling
Serve with your favorite toppings
