Delicious light refreshing sorbet
Combine first 8 ingredients ( everything except oj and lemon juice) in a heavy
Large saucepan. Bring to a boil over med-high heat, stirring until sugar dissolves. Boil until syrup is thick and mixture is reduced to 2 cups (about 12 min). Discard bay leaf, and cool syrup.
Strain syrup into medium bowl. Add OJ and lemon juice. Transfer to ice cream maker and process according to manufacture's instructions. Transfer sorbet to container, place saran wrap on top surface, and cover container. Freeze until firm, at least 6 hours, 24 is best. Will keep for several days in freezer.
Needs ice cream maker- if using Kitchen Aide ice cream bowl attachment must be frozen for 24 hours before starting recipe.
