A variation on an old standard
Boil cider, orange juice, and maple syrup until volume is reduced by half. Spread apple slices in the bottom of a baking pan (quantities are variable depending on the size pan you use). Add cranberries, currants, and ginger. Pour cider mixture over all. Combine butter, oatmeal, pecans and cinnamon and spread over top. Bake at 350 for about 30 minutes, til apples are soft and top is crunchy
